I finished downloading office 2007 yesterday. I woke up this morning and it took 4 minutes to boot. What could be the problem?

EDIT: I disabled GrooveMonitor.exe
But how do I disable OSPPSVC.EXE and CVHSVC.EXE

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb963902.aspx

No installation required.

Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.

Go File>Save, and save it as AutoRuns.txt file to know location.

You must select Text from drop-down menu as a file type:

Do you have MBAM Real Time Protection on, Do you have Super Anti-Spyware Protection on, and I would go and remove all the Yahoo Extras like the toolbar from Add/Remove Program you do not need the toolbar installed.

Disable the following:

+ "Changer"	""	""	"File not found: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\Changer.sys"
+ "cpuz130"	""	""	"File not found: C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\cpuz130\cpuz_x32.sys"
+ "EagleNT"	""	""	"File not found: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\EagleNT.sys"
+ "WMPNetworkSvc"	"Shares Windows Media Player libraries to other networked players and media devices using Universal Plug and Play"	"Microsoft Corporation"	"c:\program files\windows media player\wmpnetwk.exe""HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services"
+ "cvhsvc"	"Client Virtualization Handler Service (unlocalized description)"	"Microsoft Corporation"	"c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\virtualization handler\cvhsvc.exe"
+ "Windows Live Sign-in Helper"	"WindowsLiveLogin.dll"	"Microsoft Corporation"	"c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\windowslivelogin.dll""HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar"	""	""	""
+ "Windows Messenger"	"Windows Messenger"	"Microsoft Corporation"	"c:\program files\messenger\msmsgs.exe""HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services"	""	""	""
+ "Adobe LM Service"	"AdobeLM Service"	"Adobe Systems"	"c:\program files\common files\adobe systems shared\service\adobelmsvc.exe"
+ "Java(tm) Plug-In 2 SSV Helper"	"Java(TM) Platform SE binary"	"Sun Microsystems, Inc."	"c:\program files\java\jre6\bin\jp2ssv.dll"
+ "JQSIEStartDetectorImpl Class"	"Java(TM) Quick Starter binary"	"Sun Microsystems, Inc."	"c:\program files\java\jre6\lib\deploy\jqs\ie\jqs_plugin.dll"
+ "Adobe PDF Link Helper"	"Adobe PDF Helper for Internet Explorer"	"Adobe Systems Incorporated"	"c:\program files\common files\adobe\acrobat\activex\acroiehelpershim.dll"

Disable those and reboot.

All I'm using is Avast. Full scan with malwarebytes only found some adware in sandboxie's system restore. Unchecked all of autoruns listed above. Boot time is alot faster but still 10-15 seconds slower than before. There are still some processes I didn't have before.

Could I disable Microsoft office groove too?

Uninstalled Groove, Outlook and Access because they were un-needed. Start up was still very long. Welcome screen lasted for 1 minute. Any other tips? How do i stop sftvsa.exe and sftlist.exe from starting up at boot time.
