Help With Opening A *.pi2 File Anyone know anything about this type of file?

I have some pics that have been saved to a cd but they have a *.pi2 extention. Anyone know anything about this or know how I might be able to open them? Thanks a lot.

Two possibilities. It is either Degas Elite PI2 format for Atari ST or it's encrypted high-res image file from Portrait Innovations. If that latter, I'm afraid you will have to take it up with the photographer in question.

XnView, which is a free program, should open these files.

Sorry, You have no idea what PI2 extension means. This extension belongs to Portrait Innovation (Photography Studios in USA and maybe other countries). They really sealed this hi-res files and and no one i could find has break their image algorithms.

Please let me know if you got interested and found a solution.

The only software that can open the high res images are company
property, and is only accessable to studio associates, managers,
corporate etc. Even though you purchased the printed sheets and got
the low res disc, the images are still the companies property. You
should still probably be able to print off wallet sized pics although
they may be a little fuzzy. I also have never heard of anyone breaking
the encryption, and the company has been around since 00 or 01.
