Hi everyone. This is my first post. I have an Acer desktop with Vista almost 2 years old now.

Whenever I delete, remame, cpoy/paste files, I get a dialog box showing the progress, but when the process is completed, the dialog box(es) do not terminate. So it presents an undesirable viewing blockage. I have to go to task mgr, or rkill to eliminate the dialog boxes. I've run registry and malware scans to diagnose the problem but I didn't find any answers. What would cause this problem? I'm about ready to go to the last resort and reformat my drive, but I don't want to go that far. Any ideas?
