yahoo messanger very slow and frequently hang

Hi All,
I am using yahoo messenger (10.0.0.1270-us),every time i try log in YM, yahoo messenger trouble shooter window will pop up and ask me to do the trouble shooting.When i click trouble shooter,it will perform network diagnostic test and checking HTTP virtual IP servers.Why like this?Beside this my yahoo chat also frequently hang.
Anyone please help me to resolve this problem
