Hello to all... :trumpet:

Well as I was working on a couple of computers today and installing some programs...

The question came up.. :inlove:
Why do some programs require a re-boot well others don't?

Well thanks and have a great day... :flowers:

If they need to make some changes to some files, registry entries, being in use, it can be done only on reboot.

Yep. As Broni said. If a file is in use, its hard to make changes to it without crashing, or messing up the system.

Some things only load on boot ups, aswell. So its possible you won't get the full functions until a restart even on programs that DON'T require a restart.
