Painter Ix Installation Error

Hi,
Trying to install Painter IX but keep getting this error.
"Another version is already installed.Use windows add/remove to remove it."
All well & good,if it was mentioned in there. :thumbsup:

Corel has been contacted & can't suggest anything at present,other than CD replacements.There is no mention of Corel or Painter anywhere on my computer,registry or otherwise,so any ideas why this is happening?
