Help
In the past I have come to Bleepingcomputer.com and been able to download 'combofix'. I can't seem to find it anywhere anymore to download it. Can someone please help me. I am not very computer savy but all Iknow is that when I have it on my computer I am much more relaxed. I want to install it on my kids computers too. Thanks

As for downloading...have you done a Google search? That's the tool I use to find information, not just this website.
I don't think ComboFix is intended to be a permanent install on any system, since I believe that it is constantly being updated to keep pace with new malware...but that's just a guess on my part.

It is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for general public or personal use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.
Edit: Also, you should note that Combofix isn't just something to "have on your computer". It's not something that gets installed. It doesn't run in the background. It doesn't protect your computer from anything. It's a tool that is used by trained personel to aid in the removal of various, but not all, malware infections.
Think of Combofix as a very sharp knife. It can be used to butter your bread, but used incorrectly can also harm. It's all about how it is used. You can potentially damage your system from using Combofix incorrectly.
