I down loaded a trial version of the latest photoshop elements(9)
That went all right once i had figured it out
But it would not install. The message was "Failed to install shared technologies".
I tried four times to no avail,i even talked to Adobe. What a waste of time that was. It still will not install.
I have downloaded many programs from Adobe without any problems.
I just wondered if anybody had any ideas.
Thanks

Have you tried any of the steps advised here:
kb2.adobe.com/cps/858/cpsid_85843.html#main_Error: Below mentioned applications have failed to install: Shared technologies
Note: Paste the above into the browser address bar. Using a linked URL trips up the board coding.

You're welcome. Did it solve your problem? What was it?

I was so disgusted that i didn't take it any further
How Adobe can put out trial software and it does not install is a disgrace
This is nothing more than a beta.
It is just as well that i didn't buy it otherwise i really would be very annoyed. The new Windows Live Picture Gallery is far more to my liking.
Thanks for your interest
