BleepingComputer.com: Bugcheck error with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3

So I've had a bit of trouble lately with gaming applications and crashes.

Some of the applications work fine, in fact most work just fine. Occasionally I will get a blue screen on the demo for FIFA 11 PC. The reason I am posting this here, and not a FIFA forum, is that this error is recurring from the past, and occasionally appears in other applications too.

It should be noted my specs are single core and the requirements want dual core. However I have been able to sneak by the requirement in the past for other games such as GTA IV and MLB 2k10 by putting graphics on low or medium, and not maxing anything out. Neither game really has trouble. But the FIFA 11 demo is the most troublesome of all. This demo gives me frequent blue errors whenever I play.

The blue error involves a Paged Fault in Non Paged area. I don't have a clue what this means.

I have had issues with this error before in the past. Previously, I had attempted chkdsk to attempt to fix memory and rectify the issue. The problem was dormant for a while, but with the FIFA 11 demo it has erupted in full force.

I will run the application and it will work fine, but at times it will just go to blue screen in game. Other times it will blue screen after I alt+tab. One thing in common, the computer is a bit slower before the blue screen crashes the computer, which leads me to believe this may be a memory issue.

I am strongly suspicious my computer cannot run this game but just to make sure, what advice would you give to rectify this issue?

Processor AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, 2.2 Ghz
RAM 2 gigs
Video Card Nvidia 9500 GT

Download and execute Blue Screen View.

When it's displaying the logs:

1. Click Edit -> Select All
2. Click File -> Save Selected Options and save it to your Desktop as "BSOD.TXT".

Double click the BSOD.TXT file on your Desktop and copy and paste it's contents into your next post so we can get more information about your crash history.

It appears your crashes are happening due to problems with your Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N USB driver.

Look on the bottom of your USB Wi-Fi card and look at the model number. Pictures to help you identify it are here. Download and install the appropriate current driver for your card:

WNDA3100v1 Latest Software Version 3.0.0.2
WNDA3100v2 Latest Software Version 1.2

If you have another adapter let me know the model number, I'll help you find the driver.

The update doesn't change the driver, or seem to change anything at all. The site says the driver is "3.0.0.141", which is the same driver which has crashed the computer.

The update doesn't seem to change the wireless utility either, which is still at 3.0.0.1.

With so much of your hard drive full and surely fragmented, and being so far below spec for reccomended hardware, I would expect a lot of problems with a newer game like Fifa 11, playing from a virtual drive?

Try THIS . It has to be saved to your desktop in order to use it.
Hope this is what your looking for.
1.Download TFC to your desktop, or other location.

2.Save any unsaved work. TFC will close all open application windows.

3.Double-click TFC.exe to run the program.

4.If prompted, click "Yes" to reboot.
Save your work. TFC will automatically close any open programs, let it run uninterrupted. It shouldn't take longer take a couple of minutes, and may only take a few seconds. Only if needed will you be prompted to reboot

The frustrating thing is, the drivers appear to be updated to the most recent version, according to the links given in this thread. There is no more further updating I can do. I have tried to post on Netgear's forums about the issue but my thread has not gotten a response.

You may have to reformat the computer to get rid of the other wireless card drivers.
