Hi,
Seemingly for no reason at all, some of the keys on my keyboard have been acting up. Most notably, I sometimes cannot type exclamation marks (Shift + 1) or tildes (Shift + `). Every other combination of Shift + any key works.
Specs: Windows Vista, x64 OS, Lenovo Y550 (Don't ever buy a Lenovo laptop...)

I would agree with patriot, try that first. If not I would suggest lightly pulling up on the surface of the key until it simply unsnaps from the mechanism underneath. Im sure there is a crumb or something similar down there thats keeping the key from pressing properly, after you clean that all out if you just align the key as it would sit on the keyboard and give it a firm press it should snap right back in.
