My elderly mother uses Outlook Express. She knows nothing about computers. She lives several states away.
Starting yesterday, she has not been able to open Outllook Express. Some sort of dll file is missing. How do I walk her through a reinstallation over the phone? Is OE freestanding or is it linked to Explorer? It appears from my research that if I help her reinstall IE, OE will be automatically reinstalled. Is that correct? Thanks.

Knowing the exact error message would also be helpful.
In the beginning there was the command line.
