nero error advrcntr2.dll

When I open an avi file I get a window popup for Nero, The system cannot find the path specified advrcntr2.dll

I've completly removed Nero and used the nero clean tool. and this still comes up.

Did you use the Nero General CleanTool utility.

yeah I've tried it a few times.

I did a search and found 1 other topic about this. I looked at the 2 links in that thread 1-the cleaning tool 2-a link to another site for Uniblue registry booster 2010.

Not sure what to do now.

You may have to reinstall it in order to completely uninstall it.

Use the uninstall tool first when you do go to uninstall it next time.

One other thing to try is to go to Start> Search> All file and folders> enter Nero and search. Any thing that shows up with Nero on it delete it.
