Getting this error on startup on an hp 7360n media center pc running XP media center. Has 2gb ram a nvidia geforce 6200 se video card. I have AVG free, Spybot SnD, CCleaner,Malwarebytesand spywareblaster on it. I googled the dll but found no direct references to this particular dll. Anyone have an idea what to do with this? Thanks.

Such often appear where malware items have been removed from the system...but a pointer still remains to run the malware as a startup.

I would download/install AutoRuns for Windows - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb963902.aspx .

I would then go to the Logon tab (reflects the normal startup items) of Autoruns...and search for an item related to the named file.

I would delete this.

I did as you said and found the startup and then when I rebooted it showed another one. Got rid of that and now it boots fine. Thanks.
