The basic story is that I submitted a job application to BestBuy for a job opening in the GeekSquad. Truth is, the only experience I have from the technical side of computers is a few things I have picked up from the years I have had a computer. My trade is more graphical. I am an expert in CG and Web Design. I am more of a software master then a hardware master, or you could say I am more of an artist then a technician.

Ever sense I have had a computer I have dreamt of knowing what a technician knows, and getting my hands dirty. I know this takes patience and comes with experience, and I am ready for it. But all these years I have been to undetermined, or unknowing of where to began. Yes, a bad excuse, but I am ready to do what ever it takes to learn.

I just need someone to point me to the path I need to take. Lend me a few tips, or point me to some articles or learning resources.

It isn’t just about making the GeekSquad, it is about a passion I possess to become as knowledgeable as a technician.

I would be in you debt reader, if you could be my helping hand.

Fantastic Attitude, Cody. With that attitude, it won't take you very long to get good.

Geek Squad should be no problem. If you display that attitude at the interview, I think you got the job.

One place to start is the tutorials section of bleepingcomputer. With that attitude, it won't take you very long to find all the resources you need.
