Free Gif Animation Program?

I'm looking for a freeware program so I can make animated GIFs. Any suggestions?

I do not know of such of a program but this may help. It is a site that walks you through the proccess.

Go to downloads.com or Tucows.com and check under graphics & animation I saw a few freeware & shareware programs available
