...a couple of questions... I have a cable connection. So, do I have to have an open internet connection to receive updates? When I click on check for updates, I always get the answer NO.... no new updates. BUT, when I click on show log, I see that updates have been successfully installed.

How can I be sure that updates have been successfully installed WITHOUT clicking on SHOW LOG?

............thank you....... missfilippa

Under Settings / Settings / Web Update, do you have the first 2 checked?

Under Settings / Settings / System Start, what do you have checked?

It sounds like it's automatically downloading and installing the updates.
