Hello, I have a question I have been wondering, for a while we have some Old Computer Towers that we want to get rid of and toss out since we are getting rid of some junk, And I was wondering how to manage to get off all the personal data just in case someone wants to look nothing bad on there just like if there is a credit card and stuff how to get rid of the Hard-Drive or clear it out I heard before run a magnet over it is this true thanks?

Probably the safest way is to drill some holes thru the hard drive....

magnet works, drilling holes, smashing the hard drive with a hammer. . . if your dead set on destroying the hard drive, make sure its the hard drive itself that you destroy not just the tower. In all honesty though, once its in the landfill theres not much chance of people getting stuff off of it. . .
