I just installed the AVG 6.0 Anti-virus program and now my taskbar moved to the left side of my screen in a vertical position. I cannot for the life of me get it back along the bottom of my screen. I am running XP Home. This happened once before and all I could do was a System Restore. I could do that again but I don't want to have the problem again if I re-install the AVG program which I want (my Norton subscription is up the end of this month). Help please. can you not just left click and hold and then drag it back to its original position?

Question:
If the taskbar was not locked before the install, could it then be moved by the install? -------------------- I’ve learned two things in life: One, there is a God; Two, I’m not Him!

I think I will do a System Restore. The taskbar should then be back at its default place at the bottom. I will then make sure it is locked and then re-install AVG 6.0. Hopefully this will work.
