Hi Folks:
I got reminded about this Site, whilst reading in Baen's Bar, and decided to go sign up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I was _already_ registered! This Site has a very convenient, and secure, way of getting someone such as I re-united with Password! Thank you.
I am a 71-year old, retired Seismic surveyor, who was able to delve into the Digital Computer only after retiring. Until then, I was far too busy working to go down any of thos interesting-looking side trails. Norton's thick book, on DOS, saved our Seismic Recorder Operator's butt, on the edge of the Arctic ocean, after someone tested out [Format] on their 486's very large hard Drive, one night. They did a complete re-install of everything, including complex software for working on Seismic Records, in only 4 hours....
In another part of this Site, I am gonna be asking lots of questions, since I re-start, in 2 weeks, being a Thursday morning instructor, on how to use Windows-programmed computers, to get stuff done. Everything from helping a newbie, to helping with Digital Camera/Digital computer workings.
Yes, I prefer the HP Photosmart Printer, even if it is a mite persnickity, from time to time...

Welcome back.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
