I have a small printer hooked up to my computer in my office via USB cable. I'd like to have my secretary be able to print to that printer as well without logging onto my computer and jeopardizing my security. In other words I'd like to be able to treat this printer as a network printer. Is there a way she can view the printer over the network or does she need to be able to log into my computer to print.
Thanks for your help.

What kind of network do you have? If it is just a Workgroup, you can share your printer, then install in on hers.

I do have a workgroup network and the printer is installed on both computers but it seems that she must go to "Network Places" and click "View Workgroup Computers" then choose my computer and log in using my username and password. Is there a way to circumvent all that?
Thanks

Did you share the printer on your pc? If not share it and then do a install on her pc.
