Computer Says It Has Downloads But Won't Download Them Continuous Download Icon On Shut Down

Everytime I shut down my computer I see that it wants to install updates it goes through a slow shut down and then shuts down but when I go back to download the icon is still there. One thing it doesnt seem to want to load is the Windows Service Pack 3 it always says it didn't complete the download.. I have Run CC Cleaner I have run my Norton Anti Virus and I have defraged the computer I ran Hijack this. But don't know how to read it ...

I removed your HJT log. Such are malware tools and are not permitted in the XP forum and should be posted (in the appropriate malware forum) only when asked for by the BC Malware Team or a malware problem is suspected with cause.

System manufacturer and model, please?

FWIW: SP3 can be installed from the desktop...Windows Update is not the only method. But...before installing it or attempting such...tell us what your system is.
