[HELP] Dvd+R DL

Is there anyway to get my drive to read memorex DVD+R DL discs, without spending that much money? I have an Acer Aspire 5315 that originally came with vista, but I switched after a vista-update-gone-wrong. Would there be any downloads or anything I could do to get it to be able to read my discs? Thanks

The specs for that model indicate that it has a DVD drive. Any DVD drive should be able to read dual layer DVDs without any additional software. Are you getting a specific error message or is it just not working?
