XP SP3 install fails

XP SP3 install fails Service pack 3 will not install on Compaq Presario

XP Home edition on my Compaq Presario SR1550NX PC starts to install then stops and reverts back to SP2. I have tried a fresh download but it always has the same issue. Anyone else have this problem on their Compaq and if so how did you get SP3 to install?

Did you install the patch for AMD processors for your pc yet?

Thanks Joe C, your link to the Sp37394 worked great. I had loaded all available updates except SP3 thinking the AMD issue would be resolved with one of those many updates. Thanks again.
