When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

So, my Q.
I have a virus wich worst beheave is that is not allowing me to use any softwear wich connects my to the net. Modzila is fu..., Chrome also.
So Im now in a PC club to search help.

My Question is: if I follow the steps you already recomended for another user with the same problem, but i download the DDScrs, DDS.pif,Defoger(to stop emulatiopn), Rkill and GMER to a USB stick and than try to run them on my PC - will it work?

if it does, I will post the information that the scan brings up back hire.

If not, WHAT TO DO? is it enough to run GMER ?

how to win back my Modzila?- connectivity is OK, full signal, but the pages do not charge. Done it says and nothing!
pls help

best regards
Miro Mueller

Please, some Admin to delete this topic!
...or put it in Order: "How NOT to ask for help!" since I wrote it confusing, not clear what I want, and NOT very clear what the problem is.
First I had to learn a little bit more about HOW TO ASK FOR HELP .

I had virus, but not the virus was guilty for destroying my system. I over-reacted. Dleted reg.files, processes etc. without knowing what they are for...

So at the end- new Win installation.( Very proud to have done it alone, costs free! ) I still had no WLAN, my card was dead but fnaly I found a way to connect with cable, found the right Driver and ....now it works OK

Thanks a lot for offering help, folks . I write back when I have another issues.

salut from Germany

Tips to protect yourself against malware and reduce the potential for re-infection:Avoid gaming sites, pirated software, cracking tools, keygens, and peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing programs. They are a security risk which can make your computer susceptible to a smörgåsbord of malware infections, remote attacks, exposure of personal information, and identity theft. Many malicious worms and Trojans spread across P2P file sharing networks, gaming and underground sites. Users visiting such pages may see innocuous-looking banner ads containing code which can trigger pop-up ads and malicious Flash ads that install viruses, Trojans and spyware. Ads are a target for hackers because they offer a stealthy way to distribute malware to a wide range of Internet users. The best way to reduce the risk of infection is to avoid these types of web sites and not use any P2P applications. Read P2P Software User Advisories and Risks of File-Sharing Technology.

Keeping Autorun enabled on USB and other removable drives has become a significant security risk due to the increasing number of malware variants that can infect them and transfer the infection to your computer. To learn more about this risk, please read:
