Just an update...

I finished the course. I would rate is a 6.5 out of 10. I know it was supposed to be a basic course, but I wish they would have made it longer. I was able to load and do things in linux after the course.

Overall, it was a free course and if you know nothing about linux... like I do, it worth your time.
