Hi there,

I have a quick question.

Will having the Defense+ component of the Comodo firewall package active conflict with the real time component of Microsoft Security Essentials package?

Is having them both active redundant, or will they conflict and cause problems?

Curious.

Best Regards!

Should not be a problem, because Defense+ is a HIPS program with a sandbox and MSE is an antivirus.

If you happen to be trying the beta of Comodo CIS without the antivirus part, i.e CIS 2011, Defense+ will give virus alerts but they are cloud based with behaviour analysis, so will not cause a problem either.
