I have a sneaking suspicion that I have not saved 140GB worth of data and programs on my notebook computer but I am continually gatting a warning of "Low Disk Space".
When in Windows Explorer, right clickinging on the C: drive, I see the following info:
Used Space: 139 GB
Free Space: 2.20 GB
Total Capacity: 141 GB
Within 24 to 48 hours, my Free Space will be below 1 GB available space.

There are a number of utilities you can use to check hard drive/partition space utilization. A couple I've used are listed following.
WinDirStat - http://download.cnet.com/WinDirStat/3000-2...4-10614593.html
TreeSize Pro Trial - http://www.jam-software.com/treesize/
You can also run the chkdsk /r command to get Windows to verify used/free space in a partition.

This is a problem I've seen a lot in Windows Vista. The culprit is normally a lot of System Restore save points. This article should show you how to fix it.

I used the recommended Clean Disk "options" tab to remove the old system restore points. That freed up 95GB or space. Excellent!!
