can i speed my pc up slow pc

hi all and thanks in advance for any help given.my newish pc just stopped working,wouldnt even boot,and is now totally gone.i bought an emachines from a friend which is dreadfully slow.normal pages take about 20 secs to load pages with animations ie bingo sites take about 2 mins then just freeze,i have latest abode and java.this is system info

Do you have your own copy of Windows? If I bought a used computer from anyone, the first thing I would do is a fresh install of Windows.

I second this. Or if the machine is recent atleast do a recovery on it. That'd wipe it clean.

128MB physical memory is very low. How old is this PC?
