LOOKING TO UPGRADE XP HOME TO XP PRO. WHAT IS INVOLVED. I HAVE A NEW UNREGISTERD COPY OF XP PRO. I UNDERSTAND THERE WAS AN UPGRADE CD FOR THIS, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO SECURE ONE..

There are those who say that it can be done (Home to Pro without upgrade version) but I don't see such suggested by anyone that I would rely on.

Any particular reason you're looking to do this? If I were you, I'd want to upgrade to Windows 7 and not another version of XP. But again, that's just my opinion. You may have valid reasoning to do otherwise.
