I am have just got a new computer and im already having problems, it seams that this hand me down laptop is running a old video driver.

the hardware is NVIDIA Quadro fx 1500m

im having no problems until i play oblivion, a little while into every session i go to a new location and my computer screen reverts to a large blue screen and tells me that my driver is out of date.... i cant find a new driver and the driver i downloaded from NVIDIA wont download.

any help is appreciated

A laptop will often need a specific mobile implementation of the driver.

Is the driver package you downloaded specified to cover the mobile application? What brand and model of laptop is it?
