Up until W98 I (mostly) had things figured out. At least, I was able to figure most of my glitches out and solve them, myself - given enough time. So doing this became a great hobby.
The improvements in the last several years in hardware technology have outpaced the improvement made in the years prior. In addition, changes in OS's have also been happening. Now that computer maintenance is no longer a hobby, and time counts - a great deal - I'm a bit over-whelmed.
My experience with repairs is that while 'something' good happens, I'm rarely satisified with the results and often disappointed. I came across your website and thought, "Perhaps, with some (or a lot) of guidance, I can be satisfied".
So here I am.
