Ok, i have a dell optiplex gx280, i bought it off craigslist...and when i bought it, i noticed that the psu fan makes a slight, non constant buzzing. it has done this for the 2 mounths that i have had this computer, and it does not have any problems. i just wanted to know if it is normal for the fan to make this kind of sound?

and yes, i have checked, no wires or anything are touching it.

That's a VERY old system (came out in 2004-2005). Most likely the fan inside the PSU is going bad - which is natural for old fans. Eventually it will fail and stop moving. Then your PSU will overheat.
