BleepingComputer.com: Windows Internet Explorer won't open

Okay, I have this problem with my usual web browser Internet Explorer. For a while, I would use it with no problem. Sometimes, I would get error messages of something within it getting an error and having to close. However, the browser would continue to run with no problem. Then today, it was acting really sluggish, for example: it wouldn't open on regular command and when it opened, it came with some random pop-up that I just closed out. Now, I've clicked on it numerous times and now it won't even open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but the problem persists. For now, I'm using firefox which determined some registry errors. I don't know if that has any connections with why IE is screwed up. But I want to know whats going on with my IE browser.
