streams lag

whenever i watch my sport streams it always lags every few seconds.. not the sound but only the screen and wondering how i can fix this

i have 1.2gb ram, latest firefox and flash player downloaded

os is windows xp

That seems like buffering and the problem is likely at the website you are watching. Maybe they need to upgrade their equipment.

i always say i lag and ppl say my internet sucks and theres not lagging, on the site

Of course they're not going to admit it. Upgrading costs money. And of course your connection could be an issue. Does this happen on all video sites or just one?
