Microsoft Me Vpn Setting up a VPN

Hi all,

I hope that someone can help me with a problem that I am having setting up a VPN connection to anpther computer. Originally, I went into dial up networking and went through the procedure of setting up the VPN and it worked and I could connect via remote desktop to the other PC. When I now try to connect I get one of two messages displayed; Disconnected from the computer you dialled or it says that the modem is in use from another application. Please help !!
