Hello bleepingcomputer community!
I found this site when googling for ways to manually remove viruses and optimize my computer. It was unexpected what I found; comprehensive tutorials and many tech jargin that I will enjoy reading. Just today, this site has taught me about not disabling programs from msconfig startup because of those programs being some kind of orphan? (yes, im no techy lol). I also downloaded hijackthis realizing that theres TONS of things running on my comp (Always thought task manager showed everything). So, I'll look forward into researching more in this site!
At this point, I am trying to remove rogue-antivirus, Antivir Solution Pro, that have infected my computer reccently. I have started reading couple tutorials. Hopefully, it will be successful. If I hit a brick wall and have exhausted my efforts, I will post again.
Thank you bleepingcomputer!

Hi Junga and welcome to the forum!
I have been dealing with Antivir Solutions Pro a LOT recently. Almost daily.
Its a beast and can be difficult to remove. Some systems I have dealt with have taken over a day to clean.

I also have a virus where my browser gets redirected to websites i don't want to goto such as googlesyndication.com or video.promo.cop.com (spelling?)
I have used anti-malwarebytes as well as all the free available antivirius programs and I still have this issue. Does anyone want me to make a hijack list log for them to analyze?
