Hi,
new member, hope I did this right.
My laptop is a Lenove (IBM) 3000 N100
Has been working fine. Turned it on a few days ago
Checked my E-mail.Turned it off, went to Town came
back 2Hrs later turn it on, all that comes up on the screen
is Error Loading Operating Systems__<flashing dash after writing.
A friend said try booting in safe mode F8 It will not work.

You may need to perform a chkdsk /r How do I use chkdsk /r?
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

I went to How do I use chkdsk like you said. It said click on Start and so on. I have
no start on screen only ERROR LOADING OPERATION SYS.
