I am a new member, and inadvertingly posted my problem in the Introduction Forum. My apologies! I'm running Windows XP SP3, and recently JIT debugging has been constantly popping up on my computer. It is annoying and frustrating! I may have to click"NO" many times before it disappears, but it eventually returns. I also noticed that I can't connect to the Windows/Microsoft Update website. Don't know if this is related to the JIT problem. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Bob

I don't know much about JIT. From what I can fine it is a Just In Time translator. Can you turn if off and then try your updates. What do you use RIT for. I would always be worried when security updates can't be done. Can you update any of the rest of your security, (antivirus)? If you can update after RIT is turned off I would run complete scans. I would also recommend Super Anti Spyware and Malwarebytes Anti Malware free on demand only.

I deleted your other posts, don't worry about those .

JIT debugging is a MS process which is installed on certain applications (Visual Basic, MS Office, etc., MS.NET).

The fact that you are getting popups...might (IMO) also indicate that the app employing JIT debugging...is damaged and needs to be uninstalled, then reinstalled.

I've had MS.NET and Office installed for years and never have I seen anything relative to JIT debugging.

"Just-In-Time Debugging" error is often caused by certain malwares.
