Installation Of Windows Nightmare

After reformatting hard disc, tatoo problems and all sorts, the computer will recognise the recovery disc that came with the system. However, the thing crashes upon trying to reinstall Windows.

Also - when no discs are in drives it says 'invalid system disc'.

I've got lots of help so far - thanks all!
