BleepingComputer.com: Printer picture quality

When I print a pic, it looks washed out. Print the picture again, and it is perfect. I thought it was the printer so we bought a new one, and installed it. Same thing happened. It happens on every odd print job. We have flipped the paper to see and that is not a factor. We have always printed the same picture again instead of trying a different one to see if that would break the cycle. We also printed out of different programs, finepix viewer, the sw that came with the new printer. still has the same pattern

Ruling out the printer, and paper. -- Thinking it may be the communication of box to printer, or something in the box itself.

Just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this, or ideas.
