go to start > run then type regedit
when it opens up go to...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32
on the right... see if there is wavemapper REG_SZ with the value of msacm32.drv
if there is not, then add it...
if that doesn't work (if it gives you an error that it's already there) then what I did was...
Right Click on Drivers32 folder, and click Permissions then when the window opens up click "Advanced" button on the bottom...
if there's ANYTHING that says Deny.... click on it, then select "Edit..." then check the "Full Control" checkbox and it will check everything, then hit the Apply button... and then Okay.... do that for all the things that say "Deny"... once you're done when you look to the right (in the registry) you should NOW see wavemapper that i mentioned above...
I'm not sure if you're having the same problem or not but this is what helped me... before making ANY changes (if you're not comfortable making any) i'd just look at the registry without making any changes...
Hope this helps!

Modification of the registry can be EXTREMELY dangerous if you do not know exactly what you are doing so follow the steps that are listed below EXACTLY. if you cannot perform some of these steps or if you have ANY questions please ask BEFORE proceeding.
Backing Up Your Registry
- Go Here and download ERUNT
(ERUNT (Emergency Recovery Utility NT) is a free program that allows you to keep a complete backup of your registry and restore it when needed.) - Install ERUNT by following the prompts
(use the default install settings but say no to the portion that asks you to add ERUNT to the start-up folder, if you like you can enable this option later) - Start ERUNT
(either by double clicking on the desktop icon or choosing to start the program at the end of the setup) - Choose a location for the backup
(the default location is C:\WINDOWS\ERDNT which is acceptable). - Make sure that at least the first two check boxes are ticked
- Press OK
- Press YES to create the folder.
For more information about modifying the registry, see this Microsoft article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/256986

right click on the Drivers32 folder
click Permissions
when the window opens up click "Advanced" button on the bottom...
if there's ANYTHING that says Deny.... click on it, then select "Edit..."
when the next window opens up
check the "Full Control" checkbox and it will check everything, then hit the Apply button...
and then OK.... do that for all the things that say "Deny"...
once you've done this for all items that had "Deny" it should fix everything... just to be sure though, now look again in the Drivers32 folder and see if it added a bunch of things INCLUDING the wavemapper that I told you about earlier...
If you see it there you can close regedit and re open your browser as everything should now be fine
Hope this helps!
