I have this problem since two days ago. I have try to solve it by calling AOL tech supports and they can not find the solution only to unistall and install which is bothersome. I have turned off the firewalls, deleted AOL folders, etc...but still nothing. I have a broadband connection that apperently AOL (however the modem appears on the "modem list"). I thought that I had a modem problem, but I can enter to every web page through Internet Explorer. I don't know what to do, I can not even enter my username since it stays on the part "Existing user name" and "AOL is findidng the type of connection", while on the top part it says "AOL 9.5 CONNECTED,Not Signed-On". I would aprecciate all the help I can get

Security Program: McAfee
Firewall: McAfee and Windows
Windows Program: Vista
Internet Explorer: Not sure but I believe it could be 7
Messenger: Currently asking for an update ( I'm scare that it can conflict even more with AOL)
AOL: 9.5 or 9.1VR (if I have to change back)

Thanks for the help :flowers:

That may be a blessing in disguise. Since you have a broadband connection--not dialup--you can still access AOL
thru IE or other browsers.
Here is the login page link in case you don't have it. https://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/lo...8&locale=us
