USB Mouse Problem

sometimes when i start the pc , the mouse doesnt react

and i have to pull it out and plug it in again

its annoying

i dont think its driver problem since its regular mouse (microsoft have defaut drivers which havent updated years)

is there any patch or bios setting , windows setting that can help???

got any idea?

I don't think your mouse is experiencing a driver problem, I think your experiencing a hardware problem.

Please check the USB connecter on the mouse for possible broken / damaged wires. Try the USB mouse on another computer to confirm it is not a hardware issue.

Check the USB port on the computer to be sure it is not damaged.

Try a different USB port.

Your subject started out being a USB mouse. If it's a USB mouse for sure try plugging into another USB and install new batteries. I have found that weak batteries can cause this problem.

if you unplug and plug it again it the mouse it work...
do you know that windows have 2 driver for mouse...whql and generic driver...or what to say about the name or driver...I ussually called like that
sometimes whql driver have that problem...try change you driver to generic driver...
if changing the driver still have that problem...try that mouse with another pc or try another mouse with you pc...

I just tried this to see if it worked. Unplugged my bluetooth from my computer and put it in another USB port and rebooted. On rebooting my system loaded the proper driver for that USP port and my mouse and keybord both work as they should. I still have not received a answer. Is this a USB mouse.
