FF3.6.6 not respounding?

Hi been using FF 3.6.6 for a while for some reason its stop working,i get my home page which is yahoo nothing else.When i check on windows task manager it shows Yahoo Mozilla firefox not respounding,using windows xp home edition i can still use the net with aol no problem.Tried it in safe mode still the same did a few scans nothing showed up not to good with computers need help thank you

1. Reinstall Firefox
2. Start FF using its Safe Mode > Disable all Add-Ons
3. Check the usability

Hi i reinstalled FF first its was still the same so i uninstalled then reinstalled it and now seams ok the only thing is some of my addons not working other then that seams ok is there any thing else i should look out for thanks :thumbsup:

Hmmm, you could try reinstalling the Add-Ons.
Select Add-On > Uninstall > Download again > Install.

FF usually checks the compatibility of the Add-Ons, with every new installation. Still using FF 3.6.6, right?

Make sure you have the essential Plugins installed.

IMHO, Two must-have Add-Ons:
NoScript
AdBlock Plus

I agree with ReviverSoft those two add-ons should be used. If you start adding a bunch of other add-ons you will start slowing things down and possibly stopping you browser. I have read some where that some add-ons will be stopped by some antivirus and/or firewalls. This could stop a browser.
