Question about Facebook Picture

Got a question about Facebook. I opened a Facebook acct. a couple of yrs. ago. Didn't use it much as I don't like the format and the problems with viruses. Anyway, shortly after I opened my acct., in the part where you can post a photo, a picture of my granddaughter appeared. Now, at the time I didn't even know how to post a picture and I wouldn't have put one of my granddaughter if I did. My son has a facebook acct. also but he's Jr. A lot of people get us mixed up. I still get people wanting to be my "friend" that I've never heard of that I know think that I am my son. I don't know that he's ever posted a picture of his daughter on his acct.

Okay, I'm getting long winded so here's my question.

How did my granddaughter's picture get posted on my acct.? I certainly didn't do it and didn't give anyone permission.

Anyone have any thoughts?
