Hi there, first day of the school holidays and I wake up to a nasty virus on the kids computer. Good start. there's nothing important on there, but I'd rather not format right now if I can get rid of it. found this site after a google and a few references in this direction.

Welcome to BC, Helen. If you cannot find the information you need to get rid of the malware, please don't hesitate to post about what is happening to your computer in the Am I Infected? Forum.
Cheers,
John
