Hey All.
The problem is that like 3 days ago my little bro turned off the computer and in the morning i turned on but it didnt boot up
it stayed in a black screen saying window shut down and it showed me safe mode and other stuff...(but i couldnt click anything cause the keyboard wasnt working)
So i looked up online why wasnt the keyboard working, and they had a solution which was reseting my Bios with the jumpers or Taking the Cmos BATTERy
out!!.. Well, i did that and now it says
DISKETTE 0 FAILURE
KEYBOARD FAILURE
INVALID CONFIGURATION INFORMATION- PRESS f1 to continue, F2 TO SEtup
But i have no access to my keybaord i already tried another keyabord that works.
I tried another hard drive on the motherboard and it gives me the same error
so im assuming that it aint my hard drive... i donnot have ps2 ports and my keyboard is a usb keybaord
i knw the ports are working cause the lazer of my mouse turns on but not the lights of the keyboard...
Please Help me I been looking all over the internet for help

So you're saying you replaced a potentially dead or dying battery with another potentially dead or dying battery? Why not buy a known good one that is brand new? Just curious....

If you say so, just from the description you made, it appears that 'replacement' battery has been used in an old computer. Like I said, I was just curious.

Reset CMOS jumper was set to "RESET" and computer was powered on without it being set back to original position. One more proof that one should always read the fine print.
