When I click on the addons under tools I'm getting this message instead of my addons list.
What happened? How do I fix this?

Thanks
ghead

I would try uninstalling Firefox, then downloading and installing a fresh copy.

Yeah I was afraid of that. Is there any way I can save all my bookmarks and saved passwords so I can just install them when I reinstall firefox?

Saving/Restoring Bookmarks

Set windows to show hidden files,
How to see hidden files in Windows
Then navigate to:
C:\ Documents and Settings \ "your user name" \ Application Data \ Mozilla \ Firefox \ Profiles \ default.random characters \ Bookmark.html

Right click bookmarks.html, and select Copy.
Go to your Desktop, and in an empty area, right click and select Paste.
That will put a copy of the file on your Desktop.
After you install a new copy of Firefox, before opening Firefox, go to the Profile folder and delete the new bookmarks.html file that is in there.
Go back to your Desktop and Copy the bookmarks.html file you put there, then Paste it into the Profile folder where you deleted the new bookmarks.html file.
Now all of your old Bookmarks are back in your Profile folder, just like they were in the version of Firefox you removed.

Saving Passwords

For saving your Passwords, you will follow the same procedure as above.
Instead of copying the bookmarks.html file though, you want to copy these 2 files:
key3.db
signons.sqlite

To restore them, use the same method used in the Saving/Restoring Bookmarks procedure, above.
