Ok here is the answers in order of the asked question

3. it will fix some corrupt windows files and will check the disk for errors.
4. chkdsk /r will do what i just explained in number 3.

I ran a Chkdsk scan which started when I rebooted my comp. Is it suppose to be very slow on stages 4/5
