Hi everyone,

Some weirdness just started happening on my PC.

There are two facets of this, I don't know if they're related, but both started about the same time.

#1: Message at startup, "Outlook Express wants to compact your messages" - I don't use Outlook Express
#2: The My Documents folders for all users have been set to odd/invalid target areas.

This #2 is the most frustrating right now, becuase the error I see is, "The My Documents folder could not be found. Right-click the My Documents icon, click Properties, and then check that the path to your target folder location is correct."

When I set up this PC, I redirected all of the My Documents folders to folders on a Seagate Expansion Drive. The folders are still there, and I can still access them with Explorer.

However, if I try to re-direct the My Documents folder targets to the intended place, I get another error, "Invalid Target".

As the expansion drive is separately powered, could it have been 'off' and Windows tried to reset the folder names somehow?
